Dileep, who faced sexual assault allegations has finally been declared innocent after nine years. The court announced the verdict yesterday saying all charges against him were false.
After the judgment Dileep said he now plans to take legal action against everyone who, according to him, tried to frame him.
He claimed that a few police officers worked together to trap him and noted that the survivor did not mention his name during the first four months of the investigation.
Dileep also stated that he will file complaints against the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and some Malayalam film industry celebrities whom he believes were part of the conspiracy. He mentioned that he will go through the full court order before taking any steps.
Dileep further accused the SIT of misleading the state government throughout the case. He also recalled comments made by his ex-wife Manju Warrier which created a major controversy during the time of his arrest.
